Release 4 for Quickbooks for Mac 2012 was released this week. Here are the highlights of the changes. I’v added some comments (in italics) to some items. If you have experienced any of these issues, you’ll be glad to know that they have been addressed. As always, if you are running QB in Mulit-User mode, make sure to update the QB server application as well. Its also a best practice to update the application on your server computer first, before updating QB on the client computers.
Also, if you have any company file out to an accountant or someone else, do not update your QuickBooks application until you get the file back from them.

- Verify and Rebuild will now complete when certain types of data damage are present in the file – this should be really helpful – a lot of rebuilds have been stalling out.
